Flowers for Michael: Believe
Last week I ordered flowers from the flower shop at Forest Lawn. Today they were delivered to Michael's tomb inside Holly Terrace. Along with the flowers a card accompanied them...the outside of the card says, BELIEVE. The inside says, "We love you more, Michael. Always, Ghosty and Moon"
To prove that he did have an open mind, Harry Houdini made a pact with his friends that when he died, he would make contact, if at all possible, from the other side. He devised a secret code with his wife Bess so that only she would know the message was real. The secret code...BELIEVE.
I was going to write a masterpiece today. Something beautiful, insightful. I have found myself speechless and numb. I'll just end this with a quote by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth - and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.

"We Had Him" by Maya Angelou
Beloveds, now we know that we know nothing, now that our bright and shining star can slip away from our fingertips like a puff of summer wind.
Without notice, our dear love can escape our doting embrace. Sing our songs among the stars and walk our dances across the face of the moon.
In the instant that Michael is gone, we know nothing. No clocks can tell time. No oceans can rush our tides with the abrupt absence of our treasure.
Though we are many, each of us is achingly alone, piercingly alone.
Only when we confess our confusion can we remember that he was a gift to us and we did have him.
He came to us from the creator, trailing creativity in abundance.
Despite the anguish, his life was sheathed in mother love, family love, and survived and did more than that.
He thrived with passion and compassion, humor and style. We had him whether we know who he was or did not know, he was ours and we were his.
We had him, beautiful, delighting our eyes.
His hat, aslant over his brow, and took a pose on his toes for all of us.
And we laughed and stomped our feet for him.
We were enchanted with his passion because he held nothing. He gave us all he had been given.
Today in Tokyo, beneath the Eiffel Tower, in Ghana's Black Star Square.
In Johannesburg and Pittsburgh, in Birmingham, Alabama, and Birmingham, England
We are missing Michael.
But we do know we had him, and we are the world.

Is Katherine being blackmailed?
To me (and a few others - you know who you are) Katherine looks uncomfortable in this video...
According to Sawf News, "Mann hit a jackpot when he bought the assets of Henry Vaccaro after he went into bankruptcy. The assets included a New Jersey warehouse filled with Jackson family memorabilia, which included items that could have embarrassed the family.
Mann struck a deal with Katherine under which he returned personal possessions in exchange for co-developing projects with her, starting with the coffee table book - Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives."
I have a hard time believing Mrs. Jackson would try to profit off of her beloved son. Something is rotten.
EDIT: Please read TMZ's article titled, Showdown Between Katherine and MJ Estate.

Proof of Death Letter
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office provides what's called a Proof of Death letter. Many, if not all, coroner's offices in the United States, as well as many hospitals, will provide proof of death letters. Many insurance companies may request such a document when it comes to life insurance policies. Banks and other entities may request one as well after someone passes away. You do not have to be next of kin to request a proof of death letter.
This is the page at the Los Angeles County Coroner's website regarding Proof of Death letters: http://coroner.lacounty.gov/htm/prfdth.htm
On May 26th I filled out an email form at the LA Coroner's website inquiring Michael's proof of death letter. The next day, May 27th I received a response back. This is what the coroner's office told me:
You can order a Proof of Death Letter by sending a check or money order for $14.00 to Department of Coroner 1104 N Mission Rd L A CA 90033.
The next day I sent in a money order for $14 to the LA County Coroner's Office. Over a week later, June 7th to be exact, I received the proof of death letter in the mail. To be honest, I was a little surprised they sent it to me. I was shaking when I opened the envelope. I felt sick. There it was - Michael Jackson's Proof of Death letter. Signed by Marsha Grigsby from the coroner's office. It was her real signature - not a stamp of someone's signature.
I've taken a lot of pictures of this document that was sent to me. Check out the one's I have posted prior to this blog post.
Don't bother bringing up Joe vs Joseph. Do you have a copy of his birth certificate?
